Job # 11623: Nanny Needed In University Park (Mockingbird Ln and Preston Rd)

Message from Mom: Both parents work 70+ hrs/ week therefore we need some assistance on the weekends. We are very generous and simple people. Our weekday nanny has become like family and we hope our weekend nanny will be the same. It is important that our daughter learns love and respect, and there is no one more important than the person(s) caring for our child. My husband is Australian and I am from Cincinnati, with no immediate family in town. We currently have one daughter, who just turned one and is a very easy baby. We are hoping to have more children.

About the Child: 1-year-old baby girl. Very easy child. Sleeps well and eats well. Has a nanny during the week which this potential candidate can talk to. She is a very structured childhood. Loves books. Active child.

Their Ideal Nanny: Responsible, reliable, experienced at caring for a child under two. We want the nanny to be passionate about caring for young children, and not doing this as a side job to earn extra money. We want someone who takes initiative. We would like someone who is easy to be around and flexible as no two Saturdays/Sundays will be the same, and there may be hours when we are all together as a family. We need someone who consistently shows up, takes the job seriously. We want this person to feel like an extension of the family, and we will treat them like family. College degree preferred.

COVID Precautions: 
We simply try not to go to crowded places and keep eating out to a minimum.


Additional Job Details: We would like someone who is reliable, consistent, caring, and flexible. Some weekends we will both be working all weekend, and other weekends, we will be together as a family and wish the nanny to be with us at the pool, or on walks, etc. to be an extra set of hands. Aside from watching our daughter, we would hope while she sleeps the nanny would tidy her playroom, do light laundry for our baby, clean bottles, and dishes. We have a weekday nanny so she will be walking into an already tidy situation.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 5 or more years

Duties: Childs laundry

Schedule: Saturday 9:30- 2:30 Sunday ~ 10am/11am to 5:30 pm We are somewhat flexible on times - we can always work around the schedules of our future nanny but need the person to be here each Saturday and Sunday.

Compensation: $20 per hour

Benefits: Paid vacation and bonus
