Agency Point of Contact for Job #85061: Gina (720) 464-0678
Message from Family: Mom just graduated from Nurse Practitioner school and will be busy finding a new job (hopefully 4 days/week). Dad is self-employed and works from home out of his in-home office most of the time since the pandemic began. He travels about once/ month. Both children are involved in various activities/sports which change throughout the year. Our oldest is very involved with soccer. Our youngest does gymnastics 1-2x per week and has a weekly tutor (on zoom) and our oldest every other week. We have a dog who is super sweet and still very puppy-like. She loves people and other dogs.
About the Children: Our oldest is 11 years old and started middle school this year. He is a kind, thoughtful boy who enjoys sports, Legos, and Xbox. He is definitely becoming the typical "tween" and wants to be in touch with friends constantly and has been trying to adjust to the woes of middle school life. He is great to talk to once you get to know him, although he comes off as quiet and shy at first. Anyone who is willing to play a game with him or get into a round of ping pong or other sporty game will win his heart.
Our youngest is 8 years old and is a free-spirited child with a big imagination and a huge personality. She loves gymnastics, playing with friends, playing with dolls/make pretend, putting on dance/singing shows, etc. She is a born leader and can be quite assertive, and generally, this only becomes an issue at times for her family. Not at school or with our babysitters. Our daughter is a very loving, fun little girl who can easily adjust to a new person as long as they put in the time to get to know her and spend time playing with her.
Our fur baby is a 3-year-old Bernedoodle and one of the family members. We definitely need someone who is comfortable with animals (preferably a dog lover) and walks the dog prior to school pick-up or takes her to a nearby dog park.
Their Ideal Family Assistant: Ideally, we are looking for someone who is willing and eager to perform all of the job duties and also connect with our children. We believe the ideal family assistant should be patient and fun-loving and also have the ability to take charge and hold our children accountable for their behavior and responsibilities.
We would really prefer someone who likes dogs and is ok with transporting her to the dog park 1-2 times per week, which is close to our home or walking her daily. The ideal family assistant will need to help with light housekeeping needed around the house; tidying up, dishes, laundry, etc, or the occasional minor project upon request (lightbulb change, etc) and starting dinner on certain nights. Most of all, we need someone who is flexible and willing to jump into a different task or handle the kid's schedule changes without issue (their activities change every season). It would be great if this nanny was also flexible with the workdays as Mom is unsure what her new NP schedule will be once she finds a new job.
Additional Job Details: This is a sort of "do it all" position from light housekeeping/laundry, walking dog/dog park, picking up kids from school, and bringing them to various activities or appointments if necessary. Starting dinner or cooking for kids.

Message from Agency: This family is looking for someone super hands-on and flexible with tasks. This position will mostly consist of family assistant tasks sprinkled with the occasional child care. The perfect candidate for this is someone who is willing to go with the flow of what is needed to help the household run smoothly at all times. There will be times when you have very little interaction with the kiddos and you are only asked to help with household tasks. Please be aware that going into this it won't be your typical "nanny" position but it is still incredibly rewarding and your help will be an important part of the family structure.
