Job # 45187: Part-Time Household Manager Needed In Englewood (S Dahlia St & E Quincy Ave)

Message from Mom: We are a loving, busy family of 5 with two boys (12 and 14) and one daughter (9). We also have two lovable golden doodles. Mom and dad are both business owners that work out of the home. Our kids are very active and involved in various sports. This often presents a challenge as we frequently need to be in three places at once. We're looking for a "family assistant" that can help us with driving kids to/from various activities, as well as other household responsibilities such as running errands, helping with dinner prep, etc. There will be driving required in this role.

About the Children:
Our oldest child is 14 and going to be a freshman next year. He is very kind and independent. He is really into basketball and collecting/reselling shoes. We primarily need help driving him to/from various practices and games.

Our middle child is 12 and will be a 7th grader next year. He is very smart and funny. He is into basketball and playing video games with his friends. We also need help driving him to/from various practices and activities.

Our youngest is 9.5 and she will be a 4th grader next year. She is super sweet and loves to play soccer and go swimming.

Their Ideal Nanny: Must be warm, kind, highly organized, and reliable. They should be comfortable engaging with middle school kids. We would love to find someone who is comfortable helping our children with their homework.  This person is active and creative. They must have a clean driving record and experience managing a household. A college degree is a bonus. This person should be described as a "team player". This person should be confident and comfortable with preparing meals for the children and the family.

Additional Job Details: MUST have a clean driving record. We do have a vehicle the house manager can use when we do not have overlapping activities. However, we would prefer someone with a safe vehicle where we reimburse driving expenses. We can discuss purchasing a third car if required. We would like to find someone who is comfortable with dogs and willing to take our golden doodles to the park or on activities if they are taking the kids out as well.

Is the nanny required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine?  Yes. Family is open to someone who is willing to get at least the 1st shot prior to their start date.

Light housekeeping
Miscellaneous errands
Cooking for children
Cooking for family

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
3:00pm to 7:00/8:00 pm
*Opportunity for occasional date nights and overnights


Compensation: $32 to $40 per hour DOE
