Job # 43034: Part-Time Nanny Needed for Baby Girl in Denver, CO (S Sheridan Blvd & W Hampden)

Agency Point of Contact for Job # 43034: Kate (480) 586-3012

Message from Family: We (parents) have been married for 5 years and together for about 12. We live in south denver with our daughter and our 10 year old cat, who is very friendly.

Mom is in marketing and commutes to the office three days a week (the days we will need a nanny.) Dad is the founder/owner of his own financial services company and works from home. While dad is home during the day, we consider it like he is at the office, and is therefore not available to take care of our daughter, which is our reason for getting a nanny.

About the Child:

Our baby girl will be three months old upon the nanny's start date. She is very alert, happy, and easy going. She likes to read books and look at developmental cards during her wake windows and is a great sleeper during naps, which she mainly takes in her bouncer/rocker during the day (sometimes her bassinet, but we mostly use that for nighttime.) She likes to be around people, so she can see/hear what is going on, but doesn't need to be held all the time. She is also very good at being bottle-fed (breastmilk only currently,) doesn't need much burping and rarely spits up.

Their Ideal Nanny: We would like a Nanny who is kind, fun, and loves to hang out with babies. We would like the nanny to be experienced with newborns/very young babies and knows how to play/engage with them to help reach developmental milestones (so tummy time, looking at cards, reading books, etc.). Being responsible, punctual, and trustworthy is a must, along with a professional and mature demeanor.

Additional Job Details: The Nanny's responsibilities include taking care of our baby, so feeding, diapering, and playing during wake windows. We do not expect the nanny to do any housework, laundry, etc. The nanny is expected to stay at our house during their work hours (so no driving required). We are comfortable with taking the baby for a stroll in the neighborhood.

Is Drug Screening required for this position? No
