Message from Family: My wife and I are your typical mid-30s parents. I am a software engineer that works from home Thursdays and Fridays. Mom is an esthetician and massage therapist that stays home with the kids Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In our lives before kids, we loved to travel and get outdoors. In our current reality, we focus on trying to build an interactive and developmentally rich environment for our children. We have three cats and we live in Indian Hills. We are looking for someone who will be highly interactive with our kids. Screen time and phone time are things we avoid when watching our children.

About the Children:
Our first child is 7 months old. He's very active. Likes to be read to, sung to, danced with, and taken outside for walks. Enjoys being played with.

Our second child is 2 months old, so she is still developing her personality. We're looking for someone to be highly interactive with her.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is emotionally intelligent, reliable, nurturing, playful and dedicated to the job. Someone who is confident with providing an interactive and developmentally rich environment for our children. We need a nanny who will put down their phone and focus on the children. The biggest issue we've had with previous nannies is screen time. We expect our future nanny to be incredibly attentive and interactive with our children. Talking to them, playing with them, taking them outside, singing to them, etc. is very, very important to us.

Additional Job Details: Mom (software engineer) works from home Thursdays and Fridays, and Mom (esthetician and massage therapist) is home the other weekdays, this position offers a good deal of flexibility. That said, we are looking for someone reliable and dedicated to the job.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 1 year

Duties: 
Light housekeeping
Children's laundry
Bottle feeding and cleaning
Assist with children's development milestones

Message From Agency: The family is flexible with the schedule and is open to two options. Please specify which schedule you are open to in your application.

Schedule:
Thursday and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm with a 4-hour shift on another day
OR 
Thursday and Friday, 10-hour shifts

Compensation: $30 to $32 per hour DOE
