Job # 45096: Part-Time Nanny Needed For Two Little Ones In Dallas (N Tyler St & W Colorado Blvd)

Message from Mom: Transplants in need of childcare. Mother works from home. We are currently in temporary housing while house hunting. Generally use a lot of no drama discipline techniques. Schedule negotiable: Ideal is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 to 3:30. Our eldest child is in preschool M-F 9 am - 3 pm. Parents in ministry work: one with local Dallas church leading worship, other with national ministry equipping churches in racial reconciliation.

About the Children:
Eldest is 4, she is very verbal. She loves being outdoors after two years in forest school, but also loves playing princesses very much. Loves imaginative play. Big emotions but generally very pleasant.

Second child is a happy baby girl who just turned 1. She is expressive and loves crawling and cruising.

Their Ideal Nanny: Creative, capable of attuning to children, emotionally healthy and aware, willing to put the phone down and play. Someone who is fun, bubbly and bright. Enjoys getting down and playing with the kids, is safety-conscious and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Additional Job Details:

• Currently in short-term rental in North Oak Cliff, actively house hunting in North Oak Cliff and East Dallas.
• Eldest has tree nut allergies.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a must. (Occasionally - PreK pickup or adventures)
• Prepare lunch for kids and clean up after them/with them throughout the day.
• Comfortable supporting early potty training.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 1 year - 18 months

Is the nanny required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine?  Yes

Duties: 
Light housekeeping
Cooking for children

Schedule:
8:30 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (21hrs a week)

Compensation:
$25 - $26 per hour
