Message from Mom: We are a loving and tight-knit family of three. We are very hands-on with our child and are actively engaged in all aspects of his development. Both Mom and Dad are home most of the week and have flexible schedules; though Dad may start to work outside of the home in the near future. We are looking for a loving, patient, and attentive nanny to care for our child as we would.
About the Child: Our son is an active 3-year-old boy. He likes cars and buses, so likes to play with toy cars, buses, and trucks. The activities that he likes to do in recent days include playing with a waterfall toy and walking. He seems to like certain play activities over a period and then moves on to different favorites. He is good-natured and playful most of the time but can be cranky/stubborn when asked to give something up or transition to another toy or activity when he is focused on what he is doing. He may get frustrated easily when he cannot figure it out. People who have met him would generally describe him as a happy boy. He likes to interact with others; though he is kind of reserved when he is in a new place or new environment. He is generally curious. Nanny does not need specific skills as long as she is good to follow instructions and applying the learning/guidance/suggestions from our child's therapists in the interactive plays to help with developmental and educational milestones. We are not aware of any food allergies, though we would like Nanny to be cautious and watch out for food allergies when introducing new food to him.
Their Ideal Nanny: Comfortable and confident with potty training. Someone who is caring/patient/kind, has a safety-first mindset, honest/OPEN communication is huge, have a calm demeanor, flexible, creative, and attention to detail.
We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy nanny who is willing to respect our wishes and traditions of us (the parents) to care for and discipline the child properly.
Ideally, the nanny has experience working with toddler boys.
