Proactive & Dependable Family Assistant Needed For A Family In Greenwood Village (E Arapahoe Rd & S University Blvd)

Nanny

Message from Family: Dad works full time and works from home a few times a week. Mom is a SAHM and dedicates her days to helping our baby grow and learn. We have two dogs: a chihuahua who really just wants to cuddle with humans and a golden retriever who loves all dogs and humans he meets. We have housekeepers that come once a week. We travel often and love to entertain. We regularly attend church and strive to maintain Christian values in our household.

About the Child: Our child is a 9-month-old little girl. She is our only child. She does not have any special needs. She is very social and has a lot of FOMO. She never entered the "stranger danger" phase and loves anyone who will smile and play with her.

Their Ideal Family Assistant: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Assistant to join our home and provide exceptional support to our busy family. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-profile families and a deep understanding of the level of care, discretion, and attention to detail required in such environments. Our family is looking for someone who is active, proactive, and truly committed to going above and beyond to ensure the smooth running of our household. We place a high value on building a deep and trusting relationship, so we are looking for someone who plans to be with us for the long term. Our ideal Family Assistant will be someone who is patient, caring, thoughtful, and has a passion for nurturing and supporting the needs of a family.

Management experience is highly desirable, as you will play an integral role in coordinating daily tasks, organizing schedules, and supporting our family in any way possible. A strong background in infant and baby care is essential, as well as a creative spirit and an excellent ability to listen and understand the needs of others. While there are certain tasks we prefer to be done in specific ways, we are always open to suggestions and new ideas. We value collaboration and appreciate a fresh perspective. The Family Assistant will be responsible for managing scheduling tasks, so it is required that you have your own laptop. You must also be comfortable working with pets and, specifically, a love for dogs is a must. House and pet sitting will be required when the family travels, so flexibility is important. Finding someone who aligns with our faith-based lifestyle is very important to us, and we prioritize this in our search for the perfect candidate.

Additional Job Details: The Family Assistant role involves 1/3 childcare and 2/3 household assistance. The role includes running errands, scheduling vet and family appointments, coordinating with contractors and decorators. Managing certain household tasks and scheduling can be done remotely and would require using your own own laptop.

Family Assistant Responsibilities:

Pet Care: The family assistant will be responsible for coordinating and attending grooming and veterinary appointments for the dogs. This includes dropping them off for boarding when we travel and ensuring they are well cared for during our absence. In addition, the assistant will provide pet-sitting or house-sitting services whenever we travel, ensuring our pets are fed, exercised, and kept comfortable. When the family assistant needs to transport the dogs, we will provide a car for them to use.

Travel: A valid passport will be required for occasional travel to Mexico, which typically occurs 1 to 4 times per year. These trips usually last from a long weekend to one week, but the travel commitment is not mandatory. Travel arrangements may include both private flights and commercial flights, depending on the circumstances.

Household Organization: The family assistant will ensure that the linen closets are always organized, with sheet sets neatly arranged by size for easy access. Additionally, they will maintain a well-stocked and organized pantry, keeping it tidy and ensuring that all food items are properly stored. The assistant will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the refrigerator regularly, ensuring everything is fresh and in order.

Childcare: The assistant will help with washing, organizing, and storing baby clothes, ensuring that outgrown items are stored properly for future use or donation. On occasion, they may be asked to babysit or provide additional childcare services as needed, helping to care for the child during certain activities or events.

Home Management: The family assistant will oversee the day-to-day management of household staff, including housekeepers and handymen, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently. They will also track ongoing repairs and maintenance, ensuring the home remains in good condition. After vacations, the assistant will unpack and organize closets, ensuring everything is returned to its proper place. They will also maintain an organized personal closet for the family and take care of various errands, ensuring the home runs smoothly on a daily basis.
