Professional Athlete Needs a Nanny ASAP!

Job #34864: Nanny Needed in Dallas: (Hillcrest Rd & Forest Lane)

Message from Mom: My husband is a hockey player in the NHL and currently is with the Dallas Stars so he is gone a lot, especially this year will be crazy due to the pandemic as they have up to two week long road trips every two weeks. I went to school for TV/Media and finished my last job in Toronto about 5 years ago. I currently am not working and am pregnant with our second child. We have a loving goldendoodle who is super sweet and loves people. She is about 5 years old and around 55 lbs. We definitely need someone who is good with dogs and doesn't mind a few licks here and there. My husband and I are both Canadian and travel back there at the end of every season for the off season and then return. Currently we are on a one year contract with Dallas and may or may not be back (hockey is very up in the air)

About the Child: Our daughter is a beautiful, vibrant, kind little girl. She is will be two in March and loves stickers, exploring outside and learning. I am hoping to find someone suitable to her needs in the sense of playtime, and teaching. Her last nanny was starting to teach her Spanish and was very involved with her. She never once turned on the TV and never was on her phone. Looking for someone who is very interactive and loving with her. Someone who also has extensive background with child development and learning.

Baby #2 is a boy and due in May!

Their Ideal Nanny: We are hoping for someone with a very flexible schedule and who can be available most game nights. Also, looking for someone who has experience with newborns as I am due in May with our son.

Hoping to have someone who will pick up after our daughter and meal prep for her.

I like to be very involved with that nanny and learn as well different techniques with teaching and such. I view our nanny as part of our family and am hoping to find someone comfortable with that type of relationship.

I want to find someone who is good with arts and crafts as our daughter is very creative. Someone who is active and loves the outdoors as well. Looking to find someone who possibly has experience with teaching since she loves learning new things. Our previous nanny would sing with her a lot and teach her songs and dance and I loved that. They were constantly doing imaginary play as well as reading books.

Looking for a nanny who has their own vehicle and clear criminal record and good driving record.

COVID-19 Precautions:
Please describe in detail any precautions you and your family are taking in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak.
We always wear masks in public unless outside and very distanced. We see only a few people who have the same precautions we do. We do not go to malls. With my husbands work Covid unfortunately went through all the families so we already had it.

What precautions would you expect of your nanny during the COVID-19 outbreak?
That they take every precaution possible including but not limited to social distancing. Not putting themselves in public places unnecessarily.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 6 months

Duties: 
Light housekeeping
Childs laundry
Cooking for children

Schedule: Monday 8:30-1:30 Wednesday 8:30 - 1:30 Friday 8:30 - 1:30 Potential game nights (depending in the pandemic and how it affects game attendance). We would also like someone flexible to occasionally work full days or flex hours as needed. We will provide notice for any schedule changes.

Compensation: $20-25 per hour
