Job #93103: Responsible And Experienced Nanny Needed Full-Time In Midland, TX (W Wadley Ave & Crowley Blvd)

Agency Point of Contact for Job #93103: Gina (720) 464-0678

Message from Family: We are a close-knit, family-oriented household who recently relocated to Midland, TX to be near the grandparents and build strong family and community connections. We are a Mormon family that has strong family values. Mom is dedicated to caring for our beautiful, growing family while Dad runs his own company. Our faith is central to our lives, and we actively participate in our church, attending services with the kids every Sunday. Although we don't have any pets due to the youngest children's allergies, we do have regular help from our yardman and maid, who come at least once a week. Our family loves to travel and camp together, and we frequently host friends and family, cherishing the close relationships we've built.

About the Children: Our oldest is turning 8 years old and she is responsible, assertive, and helps take care of the littles. She is very adventurous and outgoing. She loves to make new friends and is not the least bit shy. She can be persistent or, as we call it a "negotiator". She has taken a special interest in sports and is currently in tennis lessons, upwards basketball, cheer, and hip-hop dance lessons. She is a brilliant student that excels in school and is always testing into advanced academics. She particularly enjoys math. She attends public school and is in the second grade. For her, the nanny will be asked to help with picking up from school, after school routines, and homework support.

Our second child is a 5 year old girl who is the sweetest girl but can sometime be the most ornery. She can be a bit shy at times but never has trouble speaking up for herself. She is very self-aware and knows when she requires alone time to recharge. When it comes to the littles, she can be the biggest helper or an instigator. She is very adventurous and loves to try new things BUT she has her own way of doing this. She likes to stand back and start by observing until she can really start to grasp it and build up her confidence before trying something new. This pertains to everything except food, she is the picky eater. She has different interests from her older sister. She is not into sports. She is the more theatrical child. She loves to dress up and put on makeup and make crafts and jewelry. She is a wonderful ballet dancer and is currently in dance lessons. For her, the nanny will be asked to help with picking up from school, after school routines, and homework support.

Our third is a 4 year old girl and is the shiest child. She takes a while to get comfortable with new people. However, once she is comfortable, she is always ready to seize the day and lives without fear. She can be very direct when she speaks. She loves to be a little helper no matter what it is. She is following in her big sister's footsteps when it comes to sports and will be playing soccer and tennis. She also attends Mother's Day out 2 times a week. For her, the nanny will be responsible for taking/picking up from Mother's Day out and creating fun activities that promote the development and learning of fine motor skills.

Our youngest is a 2.5 year old girl. She already has a big personality for her age. She is very adventurous and very active. She is very into climbing at the moment. She still takes naps and will also be entering Mother's Day out in the fall. For her, the nanny will be responsible for taking/picking up from Mother's Day out and creating fun activities that promote the development and learning of fine motor skills.

We are expecting our 5th child this November. Part of the nanny position will be finding ways to help mom with the adjustment period of a new little one being added to the group.

Their Ideal Nanny: We're seeking a nanny who embodies flexibility, firm principles, and strong communication skills. This person should thrive in a lively, sometimes chaotic environment while maintaining a traditional, well-groomed appearance. We're looking for someone who is responsible, self-motivated, and honest—someone who can make education engaging and fun while providing a nurturing, encouraging atmosphere for the children. A positive attitude and a conservative approach are essential, along with being prepared, organized, and minimizing screen time. We value maturity, experience, and someone who can serve as an excellent role model with strong values. This nanny should have a helpful heart, take initiative, and seamlessly integrate into our family as if they've always been a part of it. We're looking for someone who is grounded in their principles and can offer our children stability, good morals, and a caring environment.

Additional Job Details: For this position, it's essential that the nanny is able to drive, as they'll be responsible for transporting the children to and from activities and school. A clean driving record and ownership of a reliable car are required but we will provide a car for the nanny to use during work hours. The role includes driving the older two children to afterschool activities and school pick-up, as well as picking up the younger two from Mother's Day Out. All locations are within the town and not far from home, though these responsibilities may evolve as the children grow older.

Travel: We take 2-3 weeklong trips each year, typically to destinations like the mountains, the beach, and New York City. While we primarily travel within the U.S., we're considering future trips that may require the nanny to have an up-to-date passport. We usually fly on private aircraft and rent houses, ensuring the nanny always has private accommodations, whether it's a room in the rental home or a separate hotel room.

Living Accommodations: The family is offering an incredible opportunity for the right nanny, including full support with relocation to Midland. They are happy to assist in securing an apartment and will cover all living arrangements in the area. Additionally, the family is providing access to a vehicle for use during work hours to ensure the nanny can carry out her duties with ease. This is a unique and generous offering for a dedicated and professional nanny looking to relocate and work with a wonderful family.
