Message from Mom: We are a two-physician household, and happy to be a new family of three. Dad works full time and mom is part-time; we're mostly looking to cover mom's schedule - which, in general - is a bit more regular. We have two large dogs and a cat, and are active people who enjoy being outside.
About the Child: We have a four month old baby boy who is a smiley, cuddly (once he feels comfortable with you) little guy. We are looking for someone to care for him while mom’s at work (sniff!). He’s loving his tummy time and “sitting” in his chair. He’s just starting to enjoy toys and continues to love music and books being read to him.
Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is punctual and cheerful, is experienced but respects parental requests on parenting style. We would like an active nanny who will play, walk and swim with our boy, especially as he grows. We want a loving and gentle but not overly indulgent nanny who will engage with our child, play games and read to him. A bilingual nanny would be nice (while it is NOT a requirement for the job, fluent English IS).
Additional Job Details: We would require you to have your own reliable method of transportation. We also require that you be/stay up to date on all your immunizations and boosters, including DTP within the last 2-5yrs and an annual flu shot. We have a pool, and while it has a cover and meets child safety standards, we require that our nanny be able to swim.
Start Date: ASAP
Duties: Light housekeeping, child's laundry, misc errands, and cooking for child

BUT...MOST weeks, Mon 9ma-5pm (often shorter - just depends on how many patients I have in clinic), and Thur 6:15/6:30am-1pm. Will need some Fridays from time to time, and house/petsitting some weekends if we’re out of town. And one date a week - often an evening.
