Message from Family: Hi! We are a relatively young family with a crazy schedule. We both are professionals with very demanding jobs that include travel and usually 10-14+ hour days. When we're not working, we love to spend time with our kiddos, family, and friends. We recently moved to the Denver area from California and are really excited to be near the mountains and have the ability to enjoy the outdoors more. Though we live in Evergreen, we are moving to Ken Caryl / Littleton in about two months (end of April). We have a 14-year-old little dog.
About the Child:
The oldest is our lovely 5.5 yr old boy. He loves building with legos and magnet blocks, doing gymnastics, superheroes, reading, and being read to. He also loves puzzles. Our son might be shy at first, but once he gets to know you and you show interest, he completely opens up to you and loves to engage. He also loves to make people laugh and go into some pretty fantastic deep conversations.
Our second is our 3.5 yr old sassy little girl. She is timid at first but has been growing out of it more and more each week. She is much more attentive than her older brother in observing and assessing everything. She can get a little feisty and stubborn... we've been working on it. She is a fantastic listener and helper. Our daughter loves to play with her big brother, build and do anything he does. She is really picky with food which is something we've been working on for a long time but have had difficulty with.
Our youngest is our 9-month-old son. He has just been a fantastic baby. He smiles and laughs, and all he wants to do is engage. He's been crawling for one month and is already starting to support himself on objects like the couch or his mom or dad and shuffle about. He tends to only get cranky when he is hungry, tired, or needs a change. We have also been really focused on baby-led weaning with him, and he has been doing fantastic with it!
Their Ideal Nanny: Someone who is caring, protective, experienced, responsible, outgoing, energetic, creative, honest, self-sufficient, organized, and always on time. We really appreciate relationships, responsibility, and transparent communication. We value promptness, self-sufficiency, organization, and trust, as well as work ethics. We believe that whoever invests their time in our family is a part of our family. We respect professionalism, the ability to create and operate their schedules with a set of requested items, and appreciate someone who goes above and beyond.
Additional Job Details: We would need help with picking up our children from school/activities, groceries, making lunch for the kiddos, helping with their laundry, bath time, and, if open to it, some household items like cleaning up after the kids.
