Message from Family: We are a warm, close-knit family in Fort Worth who welcomed our first child almost a month ago, and we are so excited to find someone who will grow with us for years to come. We are hoping to build a long-term relationship with a nanny who truly becomes an extension of our family, someone we trust deeply and who shares our values as our family expands (we hope to have three children in total).
We believe in structured days and consistent routines, while still allowing children the space to be curious, creative, and enjoy a happy childhood filled with meaningful experiences. Our home embraces an “old-fashioned childhood” feel, minimal to no screens, plenty of books, art, outdoor time, and hands-on learning. Stability, love, and laughter are at the core of how we hope to raise our children, and we are looking for someone who will partner with us in creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment from these very early newborn stages and beyond.
About the Child: Our baby boy is almost 1 month old.
Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for someone who is deeply caring and proactive, loves children, and sees this as a long-term relationship. Someone who brings warmth, reliability, and confidence, with a strong sense of structure balanced by fun and flexibility, is organized but not rigid, communicates openly and respectfully with parents, is comfortable working in a two-dad household, (ideally, but not required) speaks Spanish or another second language, and is a structured caregiver who values old-fashioned childhoods.
Experience with newborns is required, but we also value a broader childcare background for the right personality and long-term mindset.
Additional Job Details: Our nanny will primarily focus on childcare. Housekeeping duties are limited to the baby's laundry, bottles, and play areas. We have a full-time housekeeper for general home care, but we may occasionally ask for help with a quick errand, light tidying, or feeding our friendly golden retriever when we're away.
You'll begin alongside an experienced NCS for the first few months to help establish rhythms and routines. As the baby grows, your role will expand into supporting early learning, social development, and (eventually) activities. You'll stay in close communication with our full-time nanny to ensure consistency, coordination, and a smooth handoff between care.
Daily Life: Your schedule will focus on support aligning with our newborn's natural routine. Because newborns have short wake windows and frequent naps, you'll naturally have breaks throughout your shift. Some shifts may require more evening coverage through bedtime, while other days we may step in so you can wrap up earlier.
We're hoping to build a strong partnership between our nannies, so if you ever need a day covered or our full-time nanny needs a day off, you'll be able to coordinate and support each other. Each of you will primarily cover your core schedule (Tues-Sat for the full-time nanny and Sun + Mon for you), with flexibility to collaborate when needed.
Travel: Travel is a regular part of our family's lifestyle. Our full-time nanny will accompany us on occasional domestic trips, usually long weekends and sometimes up to a week.
We may occasionally offer travel opportunities to you, our part-time nanny as well, depending on availability and the needs of the trip, though the majority of travel responsibilities will fall to our full-time nanny. Travel will always be scheduled in advance, and you'll have your own private accommodations along with generous downtime between active childcare hours should you come along.
