Job #74328: Nanny Needed in Phoenix: (Central and Glendale)

Message from Mom: We are a family of four (no pets). Mom and dad both work full time (8:30-5:30 -ish). As our kids get older, their list of activities gets longer, but the number of hours in the day stays the same. We need help getting our kids to gymnastics!

About the Children:
7-year-old girl who loves gymnastics, soccer, swimming and playing the piano. She loves music and knows the songs from newsies and the greatest showman. She also is a great eater, she loves fruit and eats all her vegetables.

5 year old and keeps up pretty well with her big sister. She also likes gymnastics, swimming, piano, and soccer. She is very outgoing and full of energy.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is reliable, responsible and loving. Must be non-smoking and a safe driver. Your responsibilities would include picking up the kids from school at 3 pm (they attend the same school, but are in separate buildings a few blocks apart from each other). Our nanny would bring the kids home and give them a healthy afternoon snack. The nanny would wash the lunch containers and set them out to dry. Mom will make lunches for the next day after she gets home. On Thursdays, our oldest has gymnastics at 4 pm, and the nanny would need to drive her there (it's about 2 miles away) and make sure she makes it to class. Gym is from 4 - 7, so afterward, the nanny would go back home with our youngest until mom or dad get home from work. On days without outside activities, the nanny would play with the kids, make sure our oldest does her homework, and expose them to either Spanish or mandarin (if applies).

Additional Details: We are a bi-racial family! Dad is white, mom is Asian. The kids speak a little bit of mandarin and take lessons. We spent one month in Spain this summer learning Spanish and then volunteered at a daycare in Ecuador for two weeks. The kids have visited Taiwan as well. We love to travel and experience other cultures! We would prefer that our nanny speak only Spanish or mandarin with our kids.

Start Date: ASAP

Duties: Light housekeeping only

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. If the nanny would like to work Monday and Friday, that is great, but not required.

We could also add an extra activity to the week (like swim lessons) but would discuss any changes with our nanny.

Compensation: $20-25 per hour
