Message from Mom: We are a fun-loving, active family looking for a perfect nanny to complement our parent team. We hired a nanny through A Perfect Fit when our son was 3 months old and she is sadly leaving us. We view our nanny as an integral part of the family and trust our nanny's instincts and thoughts about our child. Because he will be an only child, we endeavor to keep him active and constantly engaged with other kiddos both his age and slightly older. He will be in preschool starting in the fall, but we will still need a nanny full time.

About the Child: 
Our son is turning 3 and he is a hilarious, wonderful child. He's super goofy and loving, but can be stubborn (like all 2 year olds). He loves all things trucks, dinos, cooking, reading, singing and playing outside with friends and family. We try to keep him super active, so he's always in classes and going on outings.

Their Ideal Nanny:  We would like our nanny to be reliable, intelligent, active, flexible and fun-loving. We are not a formal family and we really view our nanny as part of the family. Our son is also incredibly goofy and playful, so we need someone who can adapt to him and be firm, but fun at the same time.

Additional Job Details:
My husband and I have full-time, busy jobs, so we rely on our nanny immensely. We have been fortunate to have a wonderful nanny the past almost three years and trust her implicitly with our son. The nanny will be responsible for: taking him to his various activities,  working on appropriate emotional, social and intellectual development and  having fun. When he's not in school, we expect our nanny to come up with age-appropriate activities and keep him busy and engaged. Screen time is sharply limited in our house.

We also expect our nanny to do all household tasks related to the child (like laundry, snacks etc.) and some very light household work, like food prep for family meals.

Start Date: July 5, 2021

Expected Job Duration: We hope to keep this nanny until our son is in school full time, but would like at least a one year commitment.

Duties:
Grocery shopping
Light housekeeping
Miscellaneous errands
Childs laundry

Is the nanny required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine?  Yes

Schedule: Mon to Fri 10am to 5pm

Compensation: $20 to $21 per hour DOE
