Who is behind A Perfect Fit? 

A Perfect Fit was founded in 2009 by Janet Pemper, a close friend of mine whom I met in Scottsdale, AZ. In 2011, I joined A Perfect Fit as a placement coordinator, while also furthering my nanny career and working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Human Relations. During this busy time, I met so many dedicated and skilled nannies, which would benefit A Perfect Fit in the long run.

Once I completed my education and the kids I cared for began school, I was ready for a larger role within A Perfect Fit. As luck would have it, Janet was ready to focus more of her energy on raising her own growing family! So in 2016, I officially took over A Perfect Fit full-time. Since becoming owner, I opened our additional locations in Dallas, TX and Denver, CO. Our team has grown from 1 to 18 since then! We currently work with 7 office staff, and 11 nannies and sitters who are directly employed by the agency. 

As we grow, this employment-based service allows families and companies to directly book one of our nannies or sitters for an event, date night, and so on. This means that, as an agency, we cover all the employment elements that go along with a nanny or sitter, including insurance, taxes, etc. It makes it a lot easier for occasional care needs, as well as for events. Recently, we signed on with the Phoenix Suns to provide this type of employment-based care at the arena for players’ and coaches’ children during their home games!

That way, we can create a long-lasting and beneficial relationship based on family needs and nanny experience and skills.
