Job # 97366: A Phoenix Family Of Three Needs A Full-Time Nanny (N 24th St & E Shea Blvd)

Message from Mom: My husband and I both work in HR. I work from home and my husband goes into the office every day. We have one sweet baby boy who needs a full-time nanny to keep up with him! He had a rough start to life, but has been enjoying his freedom at home since graduating from the NICU. We have house cleaners who come once every two weeks. We do not currently have any pets. We do not anticipate any driving for this position.

About the Child: Our son was born last December 2021. He was born a preemie at 30 weeks and is loving being at home for the past couple of months. He loves to smile, play and listen to music. He also likes his pacifier and enjoys reading. He was born with a tracheoesophageal fistula that was repaired when he was 3 days old. Because of this and his long NICU stay, he has a G tube (feeding tube) while he is working up to taking all food by mouth. I would describe him as a joyful and sweet baby. He would fit well with someone who is caring, energetic, and enjoys doing different activities with him.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is caring, active, educated, creative, and fun. They will have at least two years of experience caring for infants and feel confident in their childcare abilities. This person must be comfortable working in close proximity to mom, as she works from the home. Our nanny will need to be open to learning about our son's feeding tube and how it works- it's very simple and will be easy to train the right person.

Additional Job Details: Nanny may need to help with transportation in an emergency situation, but daily driving is not anticipated. This family is open to both COVID-19 vaccinated and non-vaccinated nannies. However, please keep in mind that they prefer that their nanny is open to getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: Long term (1+ year)
