Job #32305: Active Toddler Needs An Engaging And Experienced Nanny In Laveen (W Southern Ave & 51st Ave)
Agency Point of Contact for Job #32305: Gina (720) 464-0678
Message from Family: We recently relocated from Seattle, WA, to Phoenix, AZ, but call Michigan our original home. Mom and Dad have been happily married since 2017. We have two medium-sized dogs (a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Cavalier). In 2023, we welcomed our first child into our family. Our family loves art, design, creative outlets, adventures, hiking, long walks, and enjoying time together. We have a strong Christian faith and are raising our son to know that Jesus is his Lord and Savior.
Dad is an Industrial Designer and works a hybrid schedule. Mom works in Marketing and is transitioning to a remote role. We're looking for a nanny to care for our son while Mom works. Occasionally, Mom travels for work, and we’ll need a sitter during those times when Dad is at work.
About the Child: Our son is a happy and curious one year old. He loves exploring the world around him and playing with others. He enjoys music, has natural rhythm, and is starting to dance. He is currently scooting around with a walker, but his first steps are right around the corner. When presented with a new situation, he needs a few minutes to observe and adjust. He is an easy going baby, and truly enjoys life!
Their Ideal Nanny: We want a nanny who loves toddlers and is ready to play, engage, and explore the world with our son. We want someone who is experienced with toddler development and can meet our son with joyful energy for the day. We would love to work with someone creative and eager to create new activities and games for our son to stay engaged and learn about the world during the day. Also, it's important to have a comforting presence for rest time and the typical toddler discomforts. It's not a requirement for our nanny to be a Christian, but it's highly preferred that our nanny is comfortable with our religion.
We are looking for someone ready to partner with us on creating the best childhood for our son. We believe in Montessori play and no screen time/television. We have a family room converted to a dedicated playroom, so there is lots of space to explore and play. Our son's growth is the main priority of the role.
Additional Job Details: We have two dogs, who are very sweet. Being able to let them outside and being comfortable around dogs is important. Additionally, light housework such as washing dishes, wiping counters, and occasionally doing our son's laundry is helpful.
