Message from Family: Dad is a civil engineer with a hybrid work schedule (subject to change), and Mom is a landscape architect who works full-time in the office. We have two incredibly friendly pugs, so we're looking for a nanny who will not only care for our child but also love and look after "the boys" by giving them attention and letting them outside as needed. We don't have any other household staff.
About the Child: Our son was born in July and is now about 8 weeks old. He enjoys eating, sleeping, stretching, farting, and colorful artwork. He's very laid-back, except when he's undressed or hungry. He has no special needs.
Their Ideal Nanny: We are seeking an active, experienced, and creative nanny who genuinely loves children and has a strong understanding of child development. The ideal candidate will be patient, safety-conscious, and skilled in helping children reach or exceed their developmental milestones. We're looking for someone who is a good communicator, nurturing, reliable, responsible, and trustworthy, with sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and self-motivation. We want our future nanny to be able to remain calm under stressful situations, be proactive, and able to make a positive impact on the life of our little one.
We are following the Taking Cara Babies schedule and approach, so a nanny who is familiar with this method or is open to learning it would be ideal.
Additional Job Details: We require a safe and reliable car as well as a clean driving record. Nanny needs to be dog friendly and be able to feed and take dogs/baby on walks when weather permits. There are no dietary restrictions known at this time. There is no religious considerations.
