Message from Family: We are a loving family with a general surgeon and a cardiac surgeon looking for a nanny who can (hopefully) be with us for the long haul! Our baby is due in December and maternity leave will end around the beginning of March, so this is when we would like our nanny to start. Our work hours are pretty variable (and sometimes unpredictable). Sometimes we have very long days, but other times only half days. We have a housekeeper that comes weekly. We also have a well-behaved 3-year-old french bulldog who is our "original baby." He usually goes to doggy daycare 3x a week and/or has a dog walker. He is also looked after by our housekeeper on the other days.
About the Child: Our baby boy will be born in December 2022!
Their Ideal Nanny: Someone who loves our child (and dog) and would consider being with us our family for years to come! Someone who is flexible on the occasional days that both of us work late. We would also love for our nanny to be experienced, fun, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about infant/child development. Open to traveling with our family in the future.
Additional Job Details: We would need our nanny to be comfortable and confident using her own car when needed. Also, a clean driving record is a must. We would also like our nanny to help out with some of the dog duties (watching him when he goes outside, and occasional doggy daycare pickups). The position will likely evolve as the child grows older and we look into putting him in daycare and hopefully adding another child to our family as well. We do have family members that live nearby who can also help with nanny relief when needed.
