Their eight-year-old son will be in school during the day, so most responsibilities will focus on household management and light family support. Typical duties include grocery shopping, running errands, managing family laundry, simple family meal prep or cooking, organizing, and assisting with small household projects. The family has one dog, two cats, and two outdoor turtles, so comfort with pets is important.
 

About the Child: Our son is 8 years old and currently on the Spanish track at school. He's a happy, easygoing, and wonderful kid.

Their Ideal Household Manager: The ideal household manager is intuitive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to anticipate what needs to be done without direction. This person takes initiative, enjoys helping others, and brings a calm, organized presence to the home. They'll stay consistent with household tasks such as laundry, groceries, and managing clutter, using any remaining time to tackle projects that need attention. Flexibility is appreciated, as schedules may vary, and occasional help with evening childcare or house and pet sitting when Mom is out of town would be a plus. Dependability, trustworthiness, and a caring nature are essential qualities for this role.

Compensation: $30–$33 per hour DOE
