Message from Family: We are first-time parents working from home and looking for a nanny who is comfortable working in the same space. We're laid back and friendly, and since we're still figuring things out, there's no set structure or pressure. Mom will be breastfeeding throughout the day, so we primarily need help with keeping an eye on our daughter while she naps and engaging her during awake time. We also have an 8-year-old pitbull mix and a cat, both of whom love people! Our dog can be a bit high-energy but has a gated area inside and an air-conditioned dog house when needed. No pet care is required.
About the Child: Our daughter was born in May and is a happy, curious 4-month-old who loves tummy time, reading books, and taking long walks in the backyard. She finds the ceiling fan hilarious! We're looking for someone who will keep her engaged and stimulated during her awake time, as we love watching her explore and grow.
Their Ideal Nanny: We're seeking a nanny who embodies kindness, patience, and a genuine respect for children. We want someone who follows a baby-led approach, responding to hunger and sleep cues, and engaging in interactive play during awake times. Our ideal nanny is easygoing, creative, and attentive, helping to support our daughter's development. Flexibility with structure is important, as our baby is still very young, and we're focused on meeting her needs as they arise
