Agency Point of Contact for Job #38772: Gina (720) 464 0678
Message from Dad: We are seeking a bright, energetic caregiver for our 6-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter, who have ADHD. Working along with a highly engaged team of parents, teachers, and therapists, the caregivers tie it all together at home. Position involves approximately 25-30 hrs per week, hours weighted toward after school and some weekends. No specific credentials or experience are strictly required. In the past, however, this position has been most happily filled by young people who are considering a career in ABA, speech pathology, special education or related fields, and have acquired some degree of practical experience in same. Some light housekeeping is required. Some help preparing meals would be ideal. Giving a hand with kids the laundry would be asked from time to time. Someone who can help out with homework is a plus.
About the Children: First child s a highly energetic, fun, imaginative 6 year old boy. He's a joker and loves to sing, dance, and play board games, and beware if you are a Pokemon fan. He will want to talk Pikachu day and night. He speaks 3 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese). After school he plays soccer when the season kicks in.
Second child is a highly energetic, caring and passionate 4 year old girl. She loves all things princess, unicorns and mermaids. You will find her singing Disney songs throughout the day. She has a strong personality (knows what she wants) and looks up to her big brother. She usually wants to play whatever her brother decides but at night she loves cuddles and bed time stories.
Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny would be flexible, creative, active and can roll with the punches from 2 highly energetic loving children. Both children have different personalities so it is important that our nanny can manage and engage with them creatively while respecting their differences. The more behavioral and educational activities the better. Our kids love challenges.
Additional Job Details: Some driving may be required in the future, (picking up from school). In the meantime mom will be doing the pickups.
