Job #30717: Engaging Bilingual Nanny Needed For A Cheerful Baby In Phoenix (S 32nd St & E Chandler Blvd)
Agency Point of Contact for Job #30717: Gina (720) 464-0678
Message from Family: Mom works from home full-time for a non-profit, and Dad is a lawyer who works 4 days a week in the office and one day a week from home. We recently moved to Phoenix from the DC area, and we are still settling in but love the area so far. Our son is our first and only child, and we don't have any pets. Dad is from Bolivia originally, and we try to speak Spanish as much as possible at home and around our child.
About the Child: Our son is a 6-month-old baby boy. He is generally easygoing, as long as he's fed. He has a sunny disposition and loves people. He likes music and walks outside.
Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is a fluent Spanish speaker with a bubbly, energetic, and upbeat personality. We are looking for someone who will constantly engage our baby through singing, talking, and age-appropriate activities while demonstrating a strong understanding of early childhood development. Experience with infants is essential, as we need someone patient and attentive, particularly on days when our baby is fussy and requires extra care to settle for naps. Most days, he is easygoing, but we value a nanny who is gentle and takes their time with him, never rushing or distracted. This role is perfect for someone active and enthusiastic, who enjoys taking our baby on neighborhood walks or short hikes to keep him stimulated and happy. Punctuality and dependability are very important to us, as is being comfortable with Mom working from home and occasionally popping in throughout the day. We ask that you remain fully present, avoiding distractions like frequent phone use, and bring a positive, warm energy into our home. A non-smoker with reliable transportation is a must.
Additional Job Details: We are starting solids, and you may be asked to help purée foods for him to try. Additionally, we would ask you to wash bottles, do baby laundry, and take out diaper trash during downtime. Occasionally, we may ask for help with other household tasks, such as bringing in packages, emptying the dishwasher, or taking out recycling, if time permits. We request that you avoid cell phone use around the baby, except for emergencies, and refrain from using screens to entertain him.
