Message from Family: We're a dual-physician household with two energetic, sports-loving boys and two affectionate mini-Golden Doodles. With early and demanding work hours, we're looking for a dependable, kind, and emotionally grounded family assistant who can support our family in keeping things running smoothly during the week. We hope to find someone who will truly become part of our team and grow with us over time.

We have a cleaning service once a week and a yard service every other week.

Additional Job Details:
• Our younger son has early dismissal every Wednesday at noon.
• There are occasional half-days or days off school when midday coverage would be needed.
• A parent is typically home or meets you at an activity by 5:30 PM to wrap up the day.
• We value work-life balance and are happy to support some downtime during school hours, as long as the dogs are not left alone for extended periods without being let out.
• We also ask that sensitive topics like religion, politics, or other complex social issues be left to us as parents to introduce when the time is right.

Requirements:
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle that can safely transport two children (booster seat provided for our 11-year-old).
• Experience working with children ages 10–16.
• Comfortable with dogs (ours are non-shedding and hypoallergenic).
• Emotionally mature and aligned with respectful, positive discipline approaches.
• Seeking a long-term position with a family who will genuinely value your presence and contributions.

Start Date: End of December, with some flexibility for the right fit.

Duties:
Grocery shopping
Family laundry
Light housekeeping
Miscellaneous errands
Cooking for family

Schedule: Our schedules vary, so we're looking for someone with some flexibility, Monday-Friday. A typical weekday could look like:
• 6:40 AM – 10:40 AM: Mornings with the kids, school drop-off, errands, meal prep, dog walks
• 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM: Often free time (off the clock, studying, etc. if desired, or helping around the house, there is plenty to do )
• 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM: School pickups, activities, dinner prep, etc.
**Guaranteed 40 hours per week with time and a half ($45/hour) for any additional hours.

Compensation: $30 per hour DOE
