Message from Family: A Note from the Mother: Hi! ! I am the mother. I am an American Born Taiwanese and speak both English and Mandarin. I would love a nanny who speaks both languages, as I am raising our daughters bilingually. Most importantly, I would love to find a wonderful nanny who can be a loving caregiver. I work in operations at Intel located in Chandler. A Note from the Father: Hi! I am the father. I am a partner at a law firm here in Phoenix and am guilty of these little girls having me wrapped around their fingers already. I'd love for our nanny to work with our daughters to stimulate and educate them. While I cannot speak Mandarin, I too hope to raise our children bilingually. A note from the cat: Hello, I am Cozmo. My parents call me big-boned and orange, but I call me darn cute. Yes they rescued me, yes the love me, yes they give me two pates a day. Life is pretty good here. You can usually find me napping on the boppy, crib, or pack n' play. A note from the dog: Hi!, I'm Molly. Squirrel! Oh, right hi! I'm brown, some white, and definitely cute. I followed them home. Now I'm theirs. I love to sniff out life's pleasures and am a bundle of energetic joy. A little bit more about our household: We have three housekeepers who clean the entire house biweekly or weekly depending on our needs. No doubt that my husband and I want the primary responsibility of our nanny to care for, love, nurture, and teach our children. Secondary responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, and running errands during non-pandemic times. Additionally, because our daughter will not go to preschool due to the pandemic, we would like our nanny to include preschool activities into the day-to-day schedule. I will help guide as to what those activities will be. Overall, we are very easy to get along with and look forward to the children getting more love. We adore them and think you will too!
About the Children: Meet your new best friend. She is a joy! She is 3-years-old. Her smart, sassy, loving, and curious nature means that she is always asking questions, wanting to learn a little bit more each day about how the world works. She has an insatiable thirst for books and can recite them back to you. In addition, her American born Taiwanese mother is raising her bilingually to speak Mandarin, as well. She loves to go to the park, ride her bike, listen to music, dance (read: twirl in circles until she is dizzy), and pretend play. She is such a happy little girl and her imaginative play is so entertaining!
Meet your sweetie-cake. She is cute as a button! She is only 4-months old but we can already tell she is the yin to her sister's yang. She has the cutest smile and it is so satisfying when you get a hearty laugh out of her. Her current activities include kick-kick-kicking in her activity gym, lots of tummy time, being read and sang to, and staring at everyone around her. We are so thrilled to have another baby in the house!
Their Ideal Nanny: An ideal nanny will want to work for us just as much as we want her to be part of the family! When it feels right, it feels right. She is proactive and can anticipate the needs of the family. She is active and can keep up with the needs of a toddler and baby. She should be able to speak and read to our daughters in Mandarin. The nanny should be experienced in attending to the needs of a young infant (e.g., bottle feeding breast milk, age-appropriate playing, teaching, stimulating). Of course we would want our nanny to love and care for our daughters as we would! Our nanny should also be animal-friendly (cats and dogs).
When not caring for our children, we hope she can take time to help with household duties (e.g., meal prep for dinner such as chopping vegetables, prepping dishes, and laundry). Due to the pandemic, we are not requesting running errands at this time.
Additional Job Details: We are only looking for bilingual nanny candidates who can speak English and Mandarin at this time. While she need not be fluent in English, some English proficiency is required to speak to the father when the mother is not around. In addition, we are looking for our nanny to have a registered driver's license and vehicle.
Start Date: ASAP but can wait for the perfect fit!
COVID-19 Precautions:

There will be times when grandparents take one of the kids for the day so that each child can get individual attention.
