Message from Family: We moved from Virginia a year ago and have been enjoying exploring the area. We have a 13-year-old small toy poodle who is very sweet and loves people. Mom works in marketing, and Dad works from home in healthcare consulting.
About the Children: Our oldest son is 13 years old and enjoys playing the drums, collecting Transformers, and participating in flag football. He has a huge interest in science and loves learning about new topics and sharing his knowledge with others.
Our youngest son is 10 years old and is passionate about basketball, LEGOs, cooking, and soccer. He loves trying new activities and finds joy in learning new things with others.
Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for someone who is mature, kind, and able to connect well with people. Our ideal candidate would have a genuine love of learning, be responsible and organized, and excel in open communication.
Additionally, we want someone who is willing to engage with and connect with older children. Our future nanny should be a non-smoker and must be comfortable with dogs.
Daily Job Duties: Overall duties include picking up the boys from school and driving them to various activities, occasionally carpooling with their friends. The nanny will also prepare simple meals that are part of the family's standard rotation. Additionally, once a week, the nanny will handle the boys' laundry, change their bed sheets, and take the sweet pup for short walks as needed.
