Nurturing & Engaging Family Assistant Needed For A Sweet Little Girl In Scottsdale, AZ (N 56th St & Bell Rd)

Nanny

Message from Family: We are a relaxed family who loves spending time together and have two friendly dogs and a cat. Mom is a home-care pediatrician and is often at home between patients, while Dad primarily works in the office. Because of Mom's schedule, we don't travel very often, but we enjoy spending time together going to the park, museums, and similar activities. We are looking for someone who can truly fit in and grow with our family, and who can be a partner in caring for our daughter.

About the Child: Our daughter is a sweet, very loving, and calm one-year-old. She loves using her hands (sand and water) and being outdoors. Indoors, books are her favorite activity. She loves being challenged and learning. She LOVES animals.

Their Ideal Family Assistant: They are looking for a very calm, nurturing, and creative caregiver who genuinely enjoys connecting with their daughter. This person should be comfortable working alongside a hands-on parent, providing independent primary care while collaborating throughout the day.

They value someone who is fully present and engaged, especially outdoors, with minimal phone use and a strong focus on meaningful interaction. The ideal candidate enjoys getting down on their daughter's level and engaging in one-on-one, age-appropriate, screen-free play. They are knowledgeable about developmental milestones and support learning through play, language, and daily routines, while gently encouraging independence and skill-building.

Just as important, they are seeking a true partner to Mom. When Mom has time between patients and wants to spend time with her daughter, the Family Assistant should be comfortable seamlessly switching gears and focusing on household support. This includes helping guide and support the parents as needed, such as with meal prep, laundry, bottle weaning, and potty training, all while maintaining a calm, supportive presence in the home.
