Message from Mom: We are a young family of 5! Our home location, where our future nanny will work, is in a clean, safe, friendly gated neighborhood nestled at the foot of the beautiful McDowell Mountains with plenty of nearby access to beautiful parks, libraries, and more! We are very family-oriented and every few months have grandparents visiting us. We view our nanny as a part of our family and we are looking for a nanny with similar values. We enjoy traveling, discovering new adventures in and around Arizona, and spending a lot of time being active and outdoors. We keep the kids busy with school and plenty of extra curricular activities most days of the week. We hope that our future nanny has a lot of energy and enjoys being on the go! Our home environment is tidy and very well organized. The kids have a printed school/activity schedule and daily meal plan schedule which is clear and easy for nannies to follow. Toys and pantry items are labeled. The children have been trained to follow routines and put their belonging back where they go. A nanny who is also tidy and organized will thrive in our home environment!
About the Children:
Eldest is a 7-year-old boy who is in kindergarten and is consistently getting honors at school. He leads by example, is a good helper, and dotes on his little sisters. He is active in sports (golf, soccer, tennis), plays piano, and loves building legos. He is currently challenging himself to solve the Rubik's cube!
Middle child is turning 5 and attends preschool. She is sweet and sassy. Loves picking out her clothes and getting her nails done. Her preschool teachers love her and say that she is a very good friend to her classmates. She loves being a helper at home. She is talented in dance and art.
The third is a 3-year-old girl and is the baby of our family! Born on Christmas Eve as a preemie, she is small but mighty! She loves helping with household chores, going to the park, arts and crafts, and reading. She will be in preschool in the Fall! Special needs: severe peanut/tree nut allergy. Needs caregiver to be mindful of her allergies and comfortable administrating allergy meds including epi-pen (if she ever has a severe allergic reaction)
Their Ideal Nanny: A nanny who loves children and is family-oriented. A nanny who has a laid-back personality, flexible, easy to get along with. An experienced nanny that can function independently and multi-task without getting easily overwhelmed. A nanny who is active, alert, in good physical fitness to be able to care for multiple active children! Punctual and reliable. Clean and organized. Safety and hygiene-conscious.
