Job # 66670: Part-Time Nanny Needed In Phoenix (N 56th St & Camelback Rd)

Message from Mom:  I am an American-born Taiwanese and speak both English and Mandarin. I work in operations at Intel located in Chandler and work from home most of the time. We are very excited to welcome a nanny to our family. We are looking for a loving, caring team player who thoroughly enjoys childcare. Someone who is comfortable working alongside me (mom) day to day and assisting with keeping the household running smoothly.

Message from Dad: I am a partner at a law firm here in Phoenix and am guilty of these little girls having me wrapped around their fingers. I'd love for our nanny to work with our daughters to stimulate and educate them. You can find me at home some of the time, but I mostly go into the office located in central Phoenix.

A note from the cat: Hello! My parents call me big-boned and orange, but I call myself darn cute. Yes they rescued me, yes they love me, yes they give me two pates a day. Life is pretty good here. I'm not as nimble as I used to be because my mom says I'm 'ancient'. I may need some help getting up and down the counter to enjoy the meals my humans have prepared for me. Will you give me a lift?

A note from the dog: Hi! I'm brown, some white, and definitely cute. I followed my owner's home one day. Now I'm theirs. I love to sniff out life's pleasures and am a bundle of energetic joy. Can't seem to shake off that puppy energy even though I'm nine. Let's play.

A little bit more about our household: No doubt that my husband and I want the primary responsibility of our nanny to care for, love, nurture, and teach our children. Secondary responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry. We have three housekeepers who clean the house every Thursday. Overall, we are very easy to get along with and look forward to the children getting more love. We are a busy household with three little ones, a meow, and a dog. We are a fun, loving bunch and look forward to you joining the family. We are a team and no one is more important than the person who will be helping care for our kids.

About the Children:
Child One: Meet your new best friend. She is almost 5 years old. Her smart, sassy, loving, and curious nature means that she is always asking questions, wanting to learn a little bit more each day about how the world works. She has an insatiable thirst for books and can recite them back to you. Her American-born Taiwanese mother is raising her bilingually to speak Mandarin, and she is also learning Spanish in preschool! She loves to go to the park, ride her bike and scooter, and pretend play. She loves her ballet/tap and gymnastics classes! She currently goes to preschool full-time and will be entering kindergarten of Fall'23.

Child Two: She is cute as a button and she knows it! She loves clothes and shoes, so be sure to give her options each morning on what to wear! You won't find her far from her sleep sack, which doubles as a sleeper and blankie. Fingers crossed we don't ever lose it :)! She loves to draw, dance, and be out and about. Like her older sister, she is bilingual and speaks Mandarin, as well. She loves her tap/ballet and gymnastics classes, just like big sis. She will often ask where her tappin' shoes are. Her little voice is so cute, and she is a chatty one! She is attending the same preschool as her older sister part-time.

Child Three: He's a looker and he knows it. This little baby is only six months old but he will smooth talk you all day long. He's trying to keep up with his two sisters, so he's been hitting his milestones early in hopes that he can one day out-crawl their dress-up sessions. He loves those girls, but boy do they love to smother him with love! At the end of the day, he's still a baby looking for the next best boob. And he will try to go for any one (or two) of them he can find :). Welcome to watching him grow into his own. He is our last, so we will savor the baby's cuteness for as long as we can. And the cuteness is on overload in this house.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny will want to work for us just as much as we want her to be part of the family! When it feels right, it feels right. She is proactive and can anticipate the needs of the family. She is active and can keep up with the needs of our busy household. The nanny should be experienced in attending to the needs of a young infant (e.g., bottle feeding breast milk, age-appropriate playing, teaching, and stimulating). Our nanny should also be animal-friendly to a large 'ancient' cat and medium-sized dog.

When not caring for our children, we hope she can take time to help with household duties (e.g., meal prep for dinner such as chopping vegetables, prepping dishes, and laundry).
