Message from Family:

My husband and I own our own healthcare company and travel for work out of state. When we are in AZ, we work from home or from our local office space. We are looking for a partner to help us provide the best, most caring environment for our children as they grow and thrive. An extra set of hands to help our team!

Our family has two dogs, they are Bichon Frises. They are hypoallergenic and don't shed. Our oldest child is a mature 11-year-old boy with a creative mind, that likes to negotiate a little bit, play video games and karate. Our youngest 8-year-old little girl is a performer and likes to play tea parties, barbies and board games. They are both loving and sensitive and thrive with a loving supportive caregiver. Our ideal caregiver/family assistant is someone to be a support for our children and actually play with them. Be kind but stick to the rules and engage with our children without distraction. Happy and joyous and love to work with children in a supportive way.

About the Children:

Our daughter is 8 years old and loves to sing and dance. She is kind, loving and sensitive at times with a love of performing. Recently, she has learned to ride a bike and also loves her electric scooter and playing outside. She needs some support with homework after school and has ADHD. She loves building legos and american girl dolls as well as reading and playing board games. She needs a patient, loving and mature caregiver to take care of her needs and help her grow.

Our son is 11 years old and in 6th grade. He loves to ride his bike, play basketball and computer games. He is an excellent student, outgoing, a bit of a class clown and loves to go to the park with his friends and play basketball. He is also sensitive and kind hearted. He needs a patient, loving and mature caregiver to include him and support his needs and activities.

Their Ideal Family Assistant: Our ideal candidate will be loving, humble and sensitive to the needs of our children and our family. We want someone to be a part of our family team and be on the same page as us, the parents. We are looking for someone who is mature, caring, happy and will put our children and family in priority during working hours. Experience would be great in managing after school activities and keeping up with children's tasks, meals, play time and activities.

Additional job information: Our family assistant needs to have a reliable car, be comfortable with pets and a non-smoker.

Additional needs include light housekeeping, meals, errands, managing the household vendors like the house cleaner, pool service and yard vendor.

Travel: Our business needs sometimes will have clients in other states that the business requires us to be in person, and therefore on holidays or breaks from school we may take the kids with us and need care for them during the day but in another state.

We also like to take at least one family vacation per year and would like to have you join to provide care and support with the family while also sharing in our vacation with us. *Not a requirement to travel.

Duties:

Grocery shopping

Family laundry

Light housekeeping

Miscellaneous errands

Cooking for children

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 1 pm-6 pm

Friday: 3 pm-6 pm (flexible to add an additional hour)

*Occasional evenings, vacations, and overnights

Compensation: $24 to $26 per hour DOE
