Job # 56215
Positive & Proactive Family Assistant Needed For A Busy Paradise Valley Household (E Camelback Rd & N 32nd St)

This job has been closed.

Nanny

Message from Family: Mom and Dad work full time, but despite our busy careers, we take great pride in being actively involved in our children's care, schooling, and upbringing.  Our philosophy is to raise children who are loving, independent, and have a natural curiosity for learning.  We value a collaborative, team-based approach to childcare built on open and honest communication.  We look forward to finding a nanny who is loving, empathetic, and who naturally loves being around children!  We have no pets, and our home is professionally cleaned once a week.

About the Children: Our eldest is a bright and loving 6-year-old boy, he is in first grade. He is curious, energetic, and eager to learn.

Our middle child is a smart, independent, and fun-loving 4-year-old boy with a big heart and a deep sense of empathy.

Our youngest is a sweet and spirited 2-year-old girl who is adventurous, playful, and always ready to keep up with her brothers.

Their Ideal Family Assistant: We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who takes initiative and values open, honest communication. This person should be genuinely caring and patient, able to understand children on their level, and skilled at truly engaging with them.

Our goal is to find someone who can seamlessly integrate into our home, connect with our calm and loving household, and willingly pitch in wherever needed. We deeply value a self-starter who is flexible and embraces the role as part of the family.

While the majority of the day will involve household management, there will be plenty of times when the Family Assistant is responsible for all three children. Because of this, we're looking for someone confident and experienced in caring for three young children at once.  For example, a day when both parents are home from work early may involve 80% housework and 20% childcare, but when one of us is working late, there will be more help needed with childcare activities, including afterschool transportation, homework, bathing, and putting children to bed, etc.  We need someone who is both comfortable and flexible with both scenarios.

Additional Job Details: Depending on the day, school pick-up for multiple children may be required, along with driving them to after-school activities, so a clean driving record is essential. Since all three children are in school/daycare during the day, most daily responsibilities will center around household management tasks. That said, the Family Assistant should be comfortable caring for all three children on non-school days (early release, school breaks etc.). The nanny should be comfortable using their own reliable vehicle when driving 1–2 of the children, with mileage reimbursement provided. If transportation of all three children is necessary, the family will provide the use of one of their vehicles.
