Message from Family: Both parents are surgeons with busy schedules throughout the week. Dad is generally away for most of the day, while Mom has a more variable schedule, sometimes working only until midday or early afternoon. Occasionally, one of us might work late into the night, but this rarely happens simultaneously. We also have a 4.5-year-old French Bulldog. Additionally, a housekeeper comes to our home every Tuesday morning.
About the Child: Our son is 1.5 years old and is a very sweet and active boy. His favorite activities include running around, water play, reading books, and coloring. He loves cars, music, dogs, and ducks. He does not have any special needs that we are aware of.
Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is experienced, self-driven, patient with toddlers, and open to the possibility of caring for an additional baby in the next few years, which may lead to an increase in hours. We seek someone who is proactive, dog-friendly, and warm. We are a smoke-free home and hope our future nanny is a nonsmoker.
Daily Job Details: Our son is generally in daycare every day. We plan for the nanny to come to our house at 1 PM to do laundry, clean up toys, prepare food (e.g., chopping fruits and vegetables), and handle other light housekeeping tasks as needed. The nanny would leave to pick up our son from daycare around 3 PM and, depending on the weather, take him to a playground, an indoor activity, or play with him at home.
Additionally, when our dog is at home (he goes to daycare on some days), we would like the nanny to help with outside potty breaks, walks, and other related tasks.
