Message from Family:Dad is a busy physician, and Mom stays at home managing the household. We're looking for a mother's helper to provide an extra pair of hands and support Mom in her day-to-day tasks. We're seeking a self-directed and detail-oriented individual who thrives with minimal supervision. Our family includes three wonderful girls, one energetic boy, and three friendly doggies. A housekeeper is also part of our team to help keep the home running smoothly.
About the Children:
Our oldest is a 14-year-old girl in 9th grade with a passion for theatre. She splits her time equally between our home and her mom's.
Our second child is an 11-year-old girl in 5th grade who loves playing softball and has a talent for the drums and piano. Like her older sister, she divides her time equally between our home and her mom's.
Our third child is a very energetic 3-year-old boy with a strong love for sports.
Our youngest is a sweet one-year-old girl.
Their Ideal Nanny:We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to follow a list of tasks and complete them efficiently. We need someone who genuinely loves children, builds strong relationships with all the children, and has a natural nurturing energy.
The candidate should be passionate about childcare and household management, with experiencemanaging energetic children, specifically 3-year-old boys. It's essential that they are skilled in setting boundaries with kindness and firmness. Additionally, the role involves assisting with cooking and meal prepping for the entire family and being comfortable working closely with mom.
Travel: We may request availability for up to four weeks of travel per year, which may be taken in one or two-week blocks at a time. Shorter trips, such as long weekends, are also possible. Most of our travel is domestic, with very little international travel.

Grocery shopping

Cooking for children
Family's laundry *housekeeper does most of this
Cooking for family *simple meals or helping with meal prep
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
*Guaranteed 40 hours per week
*Optional one-hour unpaid break; however the nanny has the option to work through the break
*Occasional date nights/evenings
*Flexibility may be needed with start/end times ( for example; starting earlier at 7:15 am to take the older girls to school and occasionally getting to leave earlier than 5:00 pm)
Compensation:$23-$30 per hour DOE
