Job # 52872
Sweet Baby Girl Needs An Engaging Nanny In Chandler, AZ (Rural Rd & W Chandler Blvd)

This job has been closed.

Nanny

Message from Family: We are first-time parents to a sweet baby girl and are excited to find the right nanny to support our family. Both of us work in the medical field, with Mom having a more stable schedule. Currently, she works from home but expects to return to the office. Dad's schedule is less predictable, but he has some flexibility to adjust his hours when needed to help with coverage. We also have professional cleaners who come once a month, usually on days when Mom is home.

About the Child: Our baby girl is 5 months old. She is very calm and does well with her routine. She is working on sitting up and can roll over during tummy time. She has excellent neck, core, and leg strength. We follow the Montessori method in caring for her.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is a warm, loving, and professional caregiver who will provide one-on-one attention to our child in our home while respecting and following our parenting approach. We are looking for someone who is familiar with or willing to learn about the Montessori Method, embracing its principles of respect, independence, and a thoughtfully prepared environment. It is essential that our nanny is self-motivated, receptive to feedback, and able to take direction with ease. Strong communication is a priority—we need someone who is responsive and open, keeping us informed about our child's day, milestones, and any concerns that arise. The right candidate will be interactive and engaging, using communication and activities to support our child's development.

Above all, we want a caregiver who treats our child with respect, recognizing her as an individual rather than just a baby, and who fosters a nurturing, secure, and stimulating environment.

Additional Job Details: In addition to child-related tasks such as tidying, laundry, bottle cleaning, and meal preparation, we appreciate occasional help with light household duties if time permits, though our child's care always comes first.

For the month of April, our nanny will have the option to take a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and leave the house if desired. Starting in May, the 30-minute lunch break will be paid, and the nanny will be required to remain at the house during this time.

Our nanny must be comfortable working even when our child is sick, administering medication as needed, and lifting and carrying throughout the day. We also require someone who is willing to drive in urgent situations, adhere to our household rules—including no screen time, no added sugars, and strict privacy guidelines.

We have cameras in the house for security purposes, and we expect our nanny to respect our family's privacy. This includes not taking photos or videos of our child unless explicitly shared with us and ensuring that all information about our family remains private and confidential

Vaccination, particularly against COVID-19, is a must, and we ask that our nanny wear a mask when experiencing mild symptoms of illness.

Is Drug Screening required for this position? Yes
