Message from Mom:We are two full time working parents, Dad works from an office in Phoenix & Mom works part-time at home & part-time in her Phoenix based office. We have a 3 year old girl and a 6 month old baby boy. We are generally laid-back & want to find someone who can feel at home with our family. Mom was a nanny for many years and totally understands what components of a nanny job can help make the nanny feel comfortable & happy in the position. We have had a nanny for 2 years who is moving out of state. We love the relationship she has with our daughter and looking to find someone else to love her just as much. We want someone we get along well with and can chat easily like with a friend or family member!

About the Children:

Our daughter is 3 years old. She is outgoing, funny, sweet and energetic. She is so polite. She loves dancing, music, gymnastics. She is also 3! So lots of emotions and learning about boundaries etc.

Our son will be 6 months. He is sweet, loving and loves to be held.

Their Ideal Nanny:On-time, responsible, loving, patient, easygoing, energetic. A good communicator, open to holding our boundaries (i.e. no screen time). Isn't on the phone while at work.

Additional Job Details:We just want someone who can love our children and keep them safe during the day. We will not require any driving at this point, but possibly in the future as comfort and trust grow. There is a park in the neighborhood to walk to.

We consider ourselves "gentle, respectful and montessori" based parents. We would love someone who is familiar with these concepts or is willing to learn. We will pay our nanny to spend an hour or so a week listening to a podcast we recommend in order to learn more. We ourselves are always learning and trying to be the best parents we can be for our children.

We are looking for care on Monday from approx 8-3 or 4 for both kids and on Wednesday from 9-1 or 10-2 ish. Also various other days if it worked out- like 1x/month I have an all day meeting and 1x/month I have a morning meeting that I need to be at. Not required for those hours- but just an option.

Mom will occasionally be home during these hours, and will occasionally go to her office.

Start Date:ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 9 months or longer

Duties:

Cleaning up after children both toys and food, etc.

Schedule:

Mon 8am to 3pm/4pm

Wed 9am to 1pm or 10am to 2pm

Various other days if available

1 Tuesday a month

1 Thursday a month

Occasional Friday hours
