Job #88546: Travel, Tidy, Teach & Love in this Paradise Valley Family Assistant Role (E Lincoln Dr and N 32nd St.)
Agency Point of Contact for Job #88546: Kate (480) 586-3012
Message from Family: We are a busy professional family with five children, looking for a dedicated Family Assistant to primarily care for our two older boys and provide general support around our home in Paradise Valley. We also have a house cleaner who comes weekly for all deep cleaning, so the Family Assistant's focus will be on the children and light household support.
About the Children: We have five wonderful children ranging from infant to teen.
Our oldest is turning 15 this summer! He doesn't require nannying but may occasionally need a ride to or from activities.
Our 13-year-old son is passionate about dance and choir. He's exceptionally smart, hardworking, and travels for dance competitions six to seven times a year. We'd love for our future Family Assistant to be able to travel with him when needed.
We also have six-year-old twins… a girl and a boy, each with their own full-time nanny. Our daughter enjoys arts and crafts, excels in an after-school math and reading program, and is involved in Girl Scouts and dance. Our son loves tennis and soccer and also attends an after-school math and reading program. While both twins have full-time care, we're looking for an additional nanny to help with school pick-ups, driving them to activities, and supporting them with homework.
Lastly, we welcomed our newest addition in October 2024! He also has a full-time nanny.
** There may be times when our future Family Assistant will interact with all of the children, so they should be comfortable working with a wide range of ages.
Their Ideal Family Assistant: We are seeking a professional, career-oriented Family Assistant who truly loves their role and is looking for a long-term commitment of at least two years.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with pre-teens, teens, and school-aged children, as well as some experience with infants.
Excellent communication abilities and a proactive, intuitive approach to caregiving. We're looking for someone loving, fun, flexible, and easygoing, someone who treats the children as their own and values commitment, longevity, and becoming a lasting part of the family.
A background or interest in dance or theater is a huge plus, and being bilingual is a bonus. We're also drawn to nannies who are great listeners, wear their hearts on their sleeves, and can collaborate well with our existing nanny team.
Candidates with strong ties to Arizona are preferred.
