About The Family: This wonderful Scottsdale family is seeking daytime care for their 6-month-old starting in September after spending the summer away. They've previously worked with an overnight Newborn Care Specialist who spoke very highly of them. They are looking for someone loving, caring, and genuinely invested in a child's developmental journey, someone who is both nurturing and engaged, while bringing purposeful guidance without judgment or constant corrections.

While they are open to highly experienced professionals, they are also happy to consider a motivated candidate who may be less experienced with newborns but has a few years of professional childcare experience, a solid and safe vehicle, and a strong desire to learn and grow with the family.

The family values a warm, easygoing presence and appreciates someone who can both follow their lead and offer thoughtful suggestions when appropriate. They are not religious and prefer no religious teachings or practices introduced to their child.

What They're Looking For:

• Loving and caring toward the baby, with genuine enthusiasm for their growth and development

• Able to fill the day with engaging, age-appropriate activities, outings, and opportunities for exploration

• When the baby is napping, proactively “add value” to the household (e.g., laundry, light cleaning, prepping food, loading/unloading the dishwasher, washing bottles)

• Active, energetic, and confident in taking the baby out for activities

• Flexible to travel with the family would be greatly appreciated

• Comfortable with occasional evenings, overnights, or short travel (all expenses covered)

• Safe, confident driver with own vehicle for outings

Requirements:

Driver's License & Valid Passport

Strong swimmer

Must prioritize the child's safety at all times

Reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, warm, and adaptable personality

Location: Scottsdale, AZ. Far North Scottsdale, near the Carefree border

Start Date: September 15, 2025

Contract Length: 9 months (through May 2026)

Schedule:

Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

(or potentially 8 AM start with a later finish)

* Friday and Saturday off.

* Flexibility is appreciated. Open to more hours if needed

Compensation: $35 per hour, depending on experience and education, with higher rates offered for highly qualified candidates. Open to providing a stipend to support the commute north.
