A Perfect Fit was created from a passion for children. The nanny placement process is a unique service that entails an unwavering commitment to detail. Every family is unique, and we pride ourselves in getting to know each and every family and nanny in order to make A Perfect Fit.
With over 15 years of experience as a nanny, teacher, and placement coordinator, and business owner, I have learned that finding a trusted and reliable childcare solution, although imperative, is just the beginning of a parent's journey during their nanny search. As a mother and a nanny employer myself, I understand that finding a person that completes your family puzzle is sometimes an overlooked component, and is my focus when considering the potential ‘fit’ between families and nannies.
My passion has always been about people and creating meaningful relationships. I am the aunt that loves to facetime with my nephews. The friend who is in every wedding and who has all the bridesmaids dresses to prove it! The former nanny, who was at every dance recital, every ball game, and every gymnastics meet because those important moments in ‘my kids’ lives were always a priority. I credit my early years babysitting and high school experience in a child-oriented occupational program as the foundation for my child-centered life-long journey. I expanded the foundation as a nanny and teacher, before transitioning into nanny placement services and eventually building my own successful business.
Perfect Fit families can find comfort in knowing that I draw on my established relationship with the nanny community to focus on the quality childcare professionals I am proud to represent. Trust my confidence in my experience, and my passion for creating lasting connections between families and nannies. I invite you to share with me a passion for finding your 'perfect fit', so that your precious children benefit, which is the most important piece of the puzzle.
I’m beyond excited to be a part of A Perfect Fit Nanny Agency. I have three siblings and I’m the oldest which has given me a love for children. My siblings and I were all adopted from different biological families so that definitely gives me a different perspective of how children need love and the feeling of being safe with an adult. I volunteered with Big Brother and Big Sister and ended up with a little sister for a year. I loved doing weekend activities with her and just showing her how important she is and how she can be anything in this world. I believe that is what really sparked that feeling, that I wanted to be a mom. I currently have a 2 year old daughter named Zoe and she definitely has my heart! She is a ball of fire and seems to have no fears and loves to be center stage. We love to go on walks, swimming, doing various arts and crafts. The joy she brings to my life is unexplainable.
I want to help make this process as smooth as possible and an enjoyable experience. I want to be here for questions you might have. I understand having someone else watch your child is nerve wracking. I recognize that every nanny and every family has different needs and I’m here to provide that support and help you find that perfect match. I want to help make your life easier and provide a positive experience with the safety of your child held to the highest standards.
My love for children blossomed at a young age. I was always the designated babysitter for our family and friends when I was growing up. Over the years I became known as “the baby whisperer” because of my natural way with children. When I became a mother in 2013 I felt like my life's purpose was fulfilled. It was the role I had trained for my whole life! I began working as a preschool teacher shortly after I had my daughter and this is where I fell in love with teaching and helping children grow. When my oldest daughter started public school I made a career change to property management. This is where I really grew not only as a working mother but as a professional. In 2020 I gave birth to my youngest daughter and that is when my passions evolved and I became a certified birth doula in 2021.
As a mother of 2 young girls, a certified birth doula, and a former preschool teacher, I understand the importance of early childhood education as well as the importance of creating a strong bond between caregivers and parents. Working for A Perfect Fit is the most incredible experience for me and I can not wait to assist your family in any way that I can!
I am beyond excited to be kicking off my professional career with A Perfect Fit. I was immediately inspired by the dedication the team brings to work every single day. I believe in working at something that ignites a spark. I graduated from University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa with my bachelors of social work and competed as a student-athlete. It is no surprise that after earning this degree, I found myself in a role where I get to work closely with children and families. I have learned how important childcare is to the entire family and want to do all I can to create a positive impact. With over 10 years of childcare experience, I can confidently say no family is like another and they all require different needs. When I am not at work you can find me working out, hanging with friends and family, going to the beach, and reading a good book! Nannying has developed into my passion in part because I was a nanny and understand the true value of making sure a nanny and family work well together, not just for the parents but for the children. Therefore, I promise to do my best in making sure we find your family's perfect fit. I am excited to work and build relationships with the families and nannies that choose to work with A Perfect Fit.
I am very happy to be part of the Perfect Fit Nanny family! Just a brief background about me, I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology majoring in Guidance and Counseling with a focus in Education and Special Education. Previously I worked as a volunteer for our local community's Special Education Center where I helped teach children with special needs. I have been exposed to the reality that children have varying needs hence, we, as adults and nannies must try different techniques and strategies when working with and caring for children. Now that I have children of my own, I am able to demonstrate what I have learned in school and from my previous experience so I can be the best mother that I can be. I am excited for this new phase in my life working as a Nanny Coordinator. As a new member of the team, I can already sense how well they treat their employees and everyone that's part of the team. My role as a Nanny Coordinator serves as a perfect avenue for me to showcase my skills in the recruitment field while putting a "motherly touch" with what I do that's necessary for the job. As a parent, I also have my own standards in searching for a nanny which I can apply to my role as a Nanny Coordinator. I certainly want to make sure that I am entrusting my children's welfare to someone reliable, honest, and principled. These are just some of the things that I look for in a Nanny to help our families with their childcare needs. Jennifer and the team have welcomed me as a new member of the family which I am very grateful for.
